Remember seeing “Star Wars” for the first time? You can recapture those feelings once again, because the Star Wars YouTube channel has just re-released the film’s original 1977 teaser trailer.
And this movie looks awesome. It has some kind of British-accented “human-cyborg” relations robot, another robot with a scary needle, a girl with cinnamon buns for hair, a grappling hook, “aliens from a thousand worlds” and some sort of “light” sabers with an eerie hum.
And who’s that guy with the black mask and cape? He seems intriguing.

“The story of a boy, a girl and a universe,” the narrator says. “It’s a big, sprawling space saga of rebellion and romance.”
Wow — this could be as cool as “Planet of the Apes.”

Some of the key “Star Wars” motifs don’t seem to be in place yet: There’s a rather flat logo in place of the funky, dynamic “Star Wars” one we know and love. And the narrator tells us that “somewhere in space this may all be happening right now” — apparently unaware that it happened a long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away.
And if you somehow haven’t seen “Star Wars,” you really should. Bear in mind, there are only three movies, and the last one, “Return of the Jedi,” came out in 1983. There were absolutely never any prequels made, so don’t even bother looking.
