It's May 4th, which can only mean two things: one, it's a day before Cinco de Mayo and two, it's "Star Wars" Day!
In honor of one of the greatest American sci-fi series of all time turning 35 this year and for its extra special day, we've put together a list of the best "Star Wars" moments from all six films.
To be fair, most of these will be from the original trilogy—let's face it, those were infinitely better—but take a trip down memory lane and re-discover the sheer entertainment and joy you felt when you first met Luke Skywalker (Mark Hamill), Princess Leia (Carrie Fisher), Han Solo (Harrison Ford), Obi-Wan Kenobi (Ewan McGregor and Alec Guinness) and many more.
And for those of you who have never even seen the "Star Wars" movies ... what on Earth are you doing? Go watch them now!
Then come back and check out the moments that will become classic memories for you. The rest of you: move on ahead and "may the force be with you."
Luke has a paternity reveal straight out of "Maury"
Everyone knows the big scene where Darth Vader reveals he is Luke Skywalker's father.
Han Solo is awesome even when he's being sent to his death
Han Solo is encased in Carbonite to be sent off to die by the hands of Jabba the Hut in "Star Wars: Episode V- The Empire Strikes Back". This alone is a pretty amazing scene.
But then, Princess Leia reveals her love for Han.
And he replies with this awesome line.
Speaking of Jabba the Hut, men will appreciate this next moment
The "gold bikini" that Princess Leia is forced to wear when she's Jabba the Hut's prisoner in "Return of the Jedi" sent millions of male hearts into overdrive and millions of females into a jealous rage.
Check out Jennifer Aniston in the iconic underwear on "Friends."
