At Disney's 2019 D23 Expo, the mega-entertainment company revealed plenty of news that delighted fans, with the latest drop being a poster for "Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker."
The poster instantly hit Twitter, with this film being the culmination of the Star Wars trilogy reboot that has proved extremely profitable, ultra-nostalgic, and at times, controversial.
In the poster, Rey and Kylo Ren face off against each other, lightsabers in hand, as Emperor Palpatine looms in the background – confirming that the eerie laugh heard in the movie's teaser trailer does indeed belong to the character who audience-goers thought they saw killed in the original Star Wars series.
