- John Boyega posted a video of him penning a letter to his friend and "Star Wars" costar Oscar Isaac on Twitter and Instagram.
- Boyega, who plays Finn in the "Star Wars" sequel trilogy, is sat at a wooden desk in the video writing with an ink quill to Isaac, who plays Poe Dameron.
- "My dearest Oscar, I hope this letter finds you well. It's been a fortnight since we last spoke and I must admit that I've missed you so," Boyega says in a regal British accent.
- "As I sit and reflect upon the adventures of Finn and Poe, I'm struck with anguish that John and Oscar have not been afforded the same caliber of companionship."
- Boyega ends the letter by asking Isaac to be his plus-one to the "Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker" premiere.
- "Please reciprocate my correspondence by the 'morrow. @starwars press tour continues!!! I need to stop watching the crown!" Boyega captioned the video.
- Fans have been shipping FinnPoe since the release of "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" in 2015.
- The final in the sequel trilogy, "Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker," is in theaters December 20.
