"Star Wars" actress Daisy Ridley revealed in a new interview that she wished she'd asked her costar Carrie Fisher for more advice before the legendary actress and comedian passed away.

"I never wanted to be the person who was like, 'Hey, can I ask you like a hundred questions?'" the British actress said in an interview with IGN. "So I went the other way and was like, 'Yeah, I'm totally cool; I'm not fussed at all.'"

But Ridley said that she regrets her decision to play it cool in front of her famous costars, especially Fisher.

"So now I look back with Carrie — and with Harrison [Ford] and Mark [Hamill] — on questions that I wish I had asked, but I didn't want to be that annoying person," she told IGN, adding, "There are things that I wish I'd asked."

While Ridley didn't have specific questions in mind for her costars, she did speak about how Fisher, who passed away in 2016, was a role model for her — especially due to a remark Fisher made about wearing the infamous gold bikini from "Return of the Jedi" so other actors wouldn't have to

"I'm always appreciative for that; that I didn't have to go through that, because she really paved the way," Ridley said. "She was the badass female in 'Star Wars,' and she did all of that hard work and made way for me and Kelly [Marie Tran] and Keri [Russel] and Naomi [Ackie], amongst other people."

Fisher, famous for playing the role of Princess Leia in the original "Star Wars" trilogy, died unexpectedly in 2016. She appeared in "Star Wars: The Last Jedi" after her death, and will also make her final posthumous appearance in the upcoming "Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker" later this year.
