The Millennium Falcon's betrayal of Han Solo was worse than initially thought.
Earlier this month, Harrison Ford was said to have broken his ankle when the door of his famous ship fell on his leg on the set of “Star Wars Episode VII.” Now it turns out that the 71 year-old actor suffered a broken leg, which required more intense medical care, as reported by the BBC.

“Harrison's left leg was broken in the accident,” his rep, Ina Treciokas, confirmed to TheWrap. “His surgery was successful and he will begin rehab shortly. He's doing well and looks forward to returning to work.”
Disney has also confirmed that shooting on the massive J.J. Abrams film will remain on schedule as Ford recuperates, which is reported to be up to an eight week stretch.
