May the force be with you if you're trying to cough up some money for Disney's new Star Wars hotel.
Disney has revealed new pricing specifics about its Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser adventure. The company says guests will have to pay up to $6,000 for a two-night stay at the hotel — and that's one of the cheapest options.
Two guests staying in a standard cabin, the cheapest room available, can expect to pay $1,209 per person per night, making their trip cost a total of $4,809. Two adults and one child rooming in a standard cabin will pay $889 per person each night for a trip total of $5,299. Three adults and one child booking a standard cabin will pay $749 each per night, bringing the total cost of their stay to $5,999.
Each package includes a two-night stay in one of the starcruiser's 100 cabins or suites and admission to Disney's Hollywood Studios to access the Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge area of the park. It also comes with valet parking, food and beverages at the hotel, and a MagicBand for convenient access to some services and offerings.
Guests can pick and choose what activities to add to their itineraries, with Disney calling the experience "the most immersive Star Wars story ever created." Activities include taking a trip to Black Spire Outpost on the planet Batuu, learning how to play Sabacc, taking a light saber training, building a model ship, partaking in a droid racing competition, and getting drinks at the Sublight Lounge.
The hotel has three types of guest rooms, according to its website, but all have some less-than-stellar sleeping arrangements given the hefty price tag: Each type of room has some bunk beds and pull-down beds.
The standard cabin sleeps four to five passengers with a queen bed, two bunk beds, and a wall pull-down bed. It is furnished with a pull-out table, TV, mini fridge, and "a window with a view out into space," although the starcruiser will not actually go into space.
The one-bedroom Galaxy Class Suites sleep four passengers with a queen bed and two wall pull-down beds. These have the same features of the standard cabins but with an added window, double vanity bathroom, bar area, and "a few extra Star Wars surprises," the website says. They also have an integrated seating area.
The two-bedroom Grand Captain's Suites sleep eight passengers with two queen beds, two bunk beds and two wall pull-down beds. They have a main suite with a double vanity bathroom, a second bathroom with one vanity, a bar area, a third window, and some Star Wars surprises. They also have an integrated seating area and "a posh living space."
Disney says the Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser will open for business in the spring of 2022.
