Look, if we've said it once, we've said it a thousand times: this November's "Star Wars" game, "Star Wars Battlefront," is a love letter to fans of the series.
It features "Star Wars" icons (like Darth Vader) in iconic "Star Wars" locations (like planet Hoth) doing iconic things (like using The Force to lift an enemy off the ground and choke them to death). The latest reveal for "Star Wars Battlefront" is what's known as "Fighter Squadron Mode"– that's just the technical term for "the mode where you get to fight in totally sweet space fighters."
In said mode, you'll get to pilot TIE fighters, X-Wings, and – yes, seriously – the Millennium Falcon. Allow us to walk your through the trailer.
The trailer starts off innocently enough with a bunch of rebel-piloted X-Wing fighters preparing for battle.
Then we get a quick peek at some dogfighting. The X-Wing looks great from the outside, but how about a cockpit view?
Next up, we get a look at the Imperial dogfighters. You'll spot TIE fighters in here, as well as TIE Interceptors. There's also a look inside an Interceptor, from the position of a gunner taking down a Rebel X-Wing.
