"Star Wars: Episode VIII" won't be in theaters until December 2017. If you're waiting to find out more details about Rey, Finn, C-3PO, and more, the next place you may want to turn to won't be a movie or book, but a video game.
Traveller's Tales will be releasing "Lego Star Wars: The Force Awakens" this June, and when it comes, it will expand upon a few stories introduced in "Episode VII."
In an interview with Time, lead writer Graham Goring revealed a few plot details fans will find out in the game when it's released June 28 for consoles and PC.
According to the interview, fans will learn more about several events that take place before "The Force Awakens":
- There's a Poe Dameron rescue mission where he saves beloved "Star Wars" character Admiral Ackbar from the First Order.
- A level called "Trouble Over Taul," which will let you play as villains, reveals how C-3PO ended up with his red arm (which has already been revealed in a recently released comic).
- Another level will shed light on how the man at the start of the film, Lor San Tekka ended up with the map to Luke Skywalker.
Oh and if you're wondering, the game will also feature that big scene between Kylo Ren and Han Solo near the end of the film.
